About

I'm Paul Kulchenko, a software architect living in Kirkland, Washington. I've been developing software since 1990 and am now working for Washington Mutual, the largest thrift in US JP Morgan Chase (which bought WaMu under the most unfortunate circumstances).
In addition to my day job I also occasionally work on open source software. In the past five years I wrote SOAP::Lite (a webservices toolkit in Perl) and Blooki (a wiki/weblog tool that powers this site). I also co-authored two books for O'Reilly: Programming Web Services with SOAP and Programming Web Services with Perl.
This site supports RSS and Atom feeds (you can subscribe to changes to the entire site, an individual category, or even a single post). You can also send me an email (paul@kulchenko.com) with your questions or suggestions.
